MONEY and its MAGIC…(PART 1)

I walked to the store today to buy my regular groceries – not an unusual sight though, at the store..

A cashier was counting her cash at the counter….loads of them.

MONEY and its MAGIC – is money really magical….

All I could see were pieces of paper of somewhat the same size, being counted….

And they say MONEY is magical…

MONEY is magical because it acts as a medium through which we are able to feed ourselves, clothe our bodies, and shelter below a roof…

MONEY would be MORE magical…if the same is shared with others…

We cry and crib all the time – especially when opening our wallets – cribbing at the fact that we do not have much as they guy ahead of us in the paying queue has…

But if we wonder closely, MONEY is nothing less than just some nicely colored PAPER…yes, obviously with some value on it…

MONEY helps us to build houses….but falls short of building a home…

MONEY helps us buy our meals…but falls short of ensuring our health….

MONEY helps us buy a bed…but falls short of ensuring a good night sleep….

AND THE LIST GOES ON….

MONEY is just like WATER….the nature of which is to FLOW freely…if it does not flow and stagnates…it begins to STINK…

MONEY, when shared, gets doubled…but when hogged and held tightly in the grip…gets halved…

MONEY does bring more than joy, when its shared with our fellow beings….

It gives you a great feeling…when we share our treasures (big or small – size does not matter here) with people around us -  known and unknown – a small gesture goes a long way to bring joy to the recipient and the giver….
After all, as they say, we should live like a king, and die a BEGGAR….
