Light and
darkness are two sides of the coin – they co-exist in this world of dualism. If Light is bright and effulgent, that’s
because there has been a shade of darkness at some time.
If Darkness
is black and dark, that's because there was a ray of light at some point…
We express sincere
gratitude for the little surprises/goodies that come our way eg a lunch treat,
a free ride back home, a lucky spot to park your car, etc – that is because there was a time we
literally had NONE – A BIG THANK YOU for all the small gifts.
Well, but
sometimes, we have been blessed with so much abundance, yet, we crave for
more….that is the irony of life.
Let there
be times of hardship and pain, only to be welcomed to a much deserving and comfortable
life
Let there
be times of loneliness, only to discover that you have fallen in love once
again
Let there
be times of frugality, only to understand the value of all and the price of
nothing
Let there
be times of poor health, only to find ourselves appreciating every day of good
health
Let there
be times of war, only to help ourselves realize the importance of maintaining
peace
Let there
be enemies, only to understand the value of a friend
Let there
be unemployment, only to appreciate every opportunity that knocks at your door
Let there
be impossibleS, only to discover that nothing is impossible. But rather I M(AM) POSSSBILE
Let the
elastic of life stretch you to the maximum, only to realize that you are beyond
both limits
Thus, let
there be darkness so that traces of light will attract us to discover it
With this,
let us pray to the Lord to lead us from Darkness to Light..
