LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND…..

Imagine a world without love:

The beauty of blooming flowers

The rays of the bright sunshine

The tweets of the songbirds

The stars that shine in the sultry night

Smiles of the little innocent babe

The ‘Good morning’s of your colleagues…..

‘Thank you’s by the lady to whom you had given your seat to…..

The boss who understands the welfare of his employees….

The polite and patient lady behind the service counter – who serves with a smile….

Would not be visible anymore….SIGH.

That would be the END of this world.

Love is the only force that keeps this world ALIVE. Love is a powerful energy. It binds people and their hearts.  Right from the Creator to His Creation – every single thing (with life or without life) is filled with the LOVE energy….

If that is so, we humans too are filled with love – Let us give, spread and share this love with all that cross our paths – after all, LOVE is our true nature.

It's a beautiful feeling – to feel this LOVE within and around us.

Why then, carry a feeling that prevents/holds us back from expressing such LOVE – its like placing huge boulders in the way of the freely-flowing water in the stream.

Let us free ourselves of this ‘huge boulders’ – to be able to LOVE once again….

It feels complete to be able to LOVE freely – just as one would love oneself.

LOVE IS….

Beautiful…

Peaceful…

Being fearless to fall in love once again…

Letting go of the past only to embrace the Much Awaited future…

Loving the other as he/she is…

Silent even when thunders roar and the waves hit the shores…

Watchful when the others have shifted their sight….

Is the very essence of one’s Being…

Living and Letting the Other Live…

Giving, giving and giving with no Expectation…

A heart over-flowing and filled with so much love – waiting eagerly to give it to the one who seeks it….

ABOVE THE CLOUDS

Above the clouds of this land, is another world  - so beautiful, so pleasant and so eternal….

A vast blue ‘ocean’ spreads endlessly……is this where heaven really is….

It’s so beautiful that you wish you could hold this sight forever…..

Above the clouds – it speaks a thousand words – its calling out to us…..

A life of peace and tranquility – above the clouds

A life of eternity – above the clouds

A life of purity – above the clouds

A life of pure love and devotion – above the clouds

A life of one above the clouds – SATHYAM, SIVAM SUNDARAM (Truth, Auspiciousness, Beauty)

Thus, come, let us rise above the clouds…..to be able to be part of it and being it…..

THE SANDS OF THIS LAND…..

Beautiful is this land – filled with the smooth silky sands and patches of water…

As the land, so the people – feels like I have known them and have been part of them…..

Each brick and mortar of this place is resounding ‘a secret code’ to me…. What are they saying….

Wish I could have more time in this magical land - longer than brief, only to be able to discover this mysterious mystery….

It was a brief moment of joy, a brief moment of a strange feeling, a brief moment of excitement,  a brief moment of déjà vu, a brief moment of unexplained familiarity, a brief moment of ownership, a brief moment of………..wish it could have been longer….

As I skide away from this land, the sands tells me from a distance, that my roots belong here – and it is to this land that I shall and should return to…soon, to merge back with my long-lost roots……

I shall eagerly wait for the reunion….

HARMONY IN WHAT WE THINK, WHAT WE SAY AND WHAT WE DO….

So much conflict outside, but much more conflict Inside….

So much arguments, so much chattering, so much anxiety, so much confusion….

What to say, what to do……

‘What would they think if I said this….but at the same time, I don't like lying to myself…’

‘I cannot be blunt with them…..its not right…..’

Now, take a deep breath and STOP…Just STOP…

Stop being the person you are not…..Stop compromising on yourself and your beliefs..

You are what you are…and if you stand by it, you will be happy with yourself.

How many times, have we fallen into the ‘trap’ of portraying someone we are not…and the uneasy feeling that comes with it…..i don't like that feeling…

If you need to say something about something, please say it – but then again, being tactful in how we put forward our point, will really help.

You will be able to say what you wish to say, and at the same time, the feelings of the other is not ‘stirred’ or ‘shaken’.

But sometimes, we are just lost for words and choose to just remain silent…Yes, that is a choice we can choose to exercise….

We need to appreciate and love the ‘honesty and sincerity’ that exists in us…

You need to believe in yourself, before anyone else starts believing in you.

You need to believe in your own actions, believe in your thoughts and what you say…

It's a beautiful feeling when you are able to love yourself for what you are…

To be able to say and do what you think….

As we Wonder, the 7 Wonders of this World is part of our Being:

a)      TO SEE
To be able to enjoy the beauty of this Creation – we have been blessed with the gift of sight. To wake up to a bright morning….
To be able to ‘see’ the goodness prevailing around us at all times.

b)      TO HEAR
To hear the birds chirping and cries and laughs of little babies….
To hear and be amused by the little things that are shared by us by fellow mates..
To hear to ‘alarms’ and ‘sirens’ that alert us to transform our ways towards Goodness.
To hear to the Divine’s voice speaking to us via our hearts.

c)       TO TOUCH
To feel the’ life’ that exists around us in living and non-living beings.
To touch and feel the warmth in every part of His creation.

d)      TO TASTE
To taste the nectar of sweetness, ever-flowing from the fingers of the Divine.
To taste the variety of food and nutrition that we have all been blessed with.

e)      TO FEEL
To feel the warmth of the Divine-Embrace around us at all times
To feel the state of being protected and sheltered.
To feel One with the Divine

f)       TO LAUGH
Laugh we must – for laughter is the best medicine J
To laugh, at our own follies – to laugh at this humorous world.

g)      AND TO LOVE….
LOVE is a beautiful feeling – it is unconditional. LOVE gives, gives and gives with no expectation of anything. LOVE cares. LOVE shares. LOVE gives – and it is in this, that It rejoices. LOVE is being. LOVE is loving Oneself in others. LOVE is beautiful. LOVE is magical. LOVE reveals the Self in us…..So keep LOVING to be HAPPY :)

 

EMPTY VESSELS MAKE THE MOST NOISE? – NOT REALLY.

Cling, clang, cling, clang  - go the ‘empty vessels’ - non-stop, as they exchange glances with each other – more so when they start ‘speaking’ to each other.

What are they speaking, what are they saying…..Listen, Listen, Listen :

’Look at how empty we are…the others have milk, syrup, curries, yoghurt in them – we have nothing in ourselves....we feel so empty….others are made of silver and gold – we are just made of ‘Stainless Steel’….….Sigh.’

But, wait a minute…you guys are ‘STAINLESS STEEL’ – its not so bad after all. You don't need regular polishing like the ones in gold and silver as their glow fades away. You GLOW all the time – isn’t that cool…Evergreen, Everglow.

Being empty is not such a ‘incomplete’ thing after all – for eg, a flute is EMPTY too, but when I blow into it, it makes such Beautiful music.  Now, you tell me, is being EMPTY such a ‘bad’ thing after all…

Emptiness is Beauty, Emptiness is Music, Emptiness is Nothingness, Emptiness is Space – its in that Emptiness, that we are able to feel a sense of Peace and Fulfillment.

Let us not ‘clog’ or ‘fill’ ourselves with all kinds of liquids of the world – syrup, milk, liquor, juices, carbonated drinks, etc, so much so, that we find ourselves unable to EMPTY ourselves, when we really need to – as part of the’ Detox’ process…

Let us clear our vessels of all blockages that halt the flow of oxygen (life) into us.

Let us clear our vessels of all blockages so that we can once again, breath the fresh air around us…

Let us CLEAR OURSELVES OF ALL NEGATIVITY that ATTRACT US SO MUCH TO THEM,

TILL WE ARE JUST UNABLE TO RESIST THEM, just like the syrup, liquor and carbonated drinks….

Let us be as EMPTY as we can, allowing the ‘DIVINE’ music to play through us – well, in this case, let HIM decide the choice of Music – be it jazz, pop, classical or rock….and trust me, He knows when to play what…He cannot go wrong…for He is the All Perfect Maestro of this Universe…

Let us NOT create NOISE when EMPTY, but rather be still, in thought of the Divine Musician, allowing Him to play the music of His choice through us….

EMPTY VESSELS indeed.

FEAR–LESS.

Why do we fear so much – we FEAR:

-          we may not have enough (money, food, etc) to survive through the month,

-          we will be robbed of what little we have,

-         we may not make it to work on time due to the traffic jams,

-         our assets may be frozen by the Banks if the loans are not settled on time,

-          our children may not be safe in schools/nurseries,

-          our new vehicle may be vandalized,

-          our computers may be hacked,

-           we may not pass through the examinations, despite the efforts,

-           we may lose our jobs,

-           of the unknown,

and the list goes on…..well, definitely, this is not an exhaustive list of our so-called FEARS.

Why do we fear so much?

Because, we are attached to the results of our actions. We have the right to carry out our actions according to our free-will – no doubt about it.

But what happens after that, is beyond our control. So why worry and fear….

FEAR drains us of our energy and fills us with pessimistic thoughts – which further drains us of whatever positive energy that is left within us.

For a moment, lets put ALL our fears aside – regardless of their nature and probabilities.

After all, we were literally born with NO FEARS whatsoever – so, why cling to these fears now…

Besides, whatever we have gathered in this world (relationships, money, property, etc) is to only be left behind. Thus, discard your fears…..

For a moment, imagine, that YOU are FREE from all these fears – for a moment, do not allow these fears to ‘touch’ you – for a moment, attach yourself to a higher source of Energy  - a ever-protective energy – an energy as protective as the armour that one would wear.

For a moment, imagine a cylindrical white light surrounding you and you are enveloped in that light. This is the protective light of faith and surrender (of oneself to the Divine Master) – that will protect you, beyond doubt. Take this light with you, wherever you go – it will protect you.

Have faith that this light will protect you, beyond doubt, and it will.

You will feel light and free once again to LIVE - Life will then be FEAR-LESS once again…

 

 

 

GIVE A BIT OF Yourself AWAY EVERYDAY – ONLY TO RECEIVE YOUR TRUESELF

One of the very basic Laws of Nature - we should give in order to receive. Giving begets receiving.

Its a beautiful concept – the reason being, the joy derived from giving is so much more fulfilling compared to receiving.

We are receiving at every moment – from the time we rise in the morning to the moment we return back to the state of sleeping. We receive the daily morning sun, our clean clothes ready to be put on, a morning meal (breakfast),  our intact faculties that take us through our daily tasks (be it at work or home) and the list goes on……

But, how much are we giving everyday….to receive our daily blessings……

But then yet, we still receive. That's the love and compassion of the Creator towards His dear Creation.

For a start, let us express GRATITUDE (sincerely) for the little blessings we receive every day – a simple Thank You would do for the little favours that we receive in a day. Please do not let go of an opportunity to ‘thank’ someone/something.

Thus, with this, now that we are getting into a ‘GIVING’ mode,  let us take this further, and start to GIVE a bit of ourselves AWAY everyday – a  bit of our anger, jealousy, doubt, fear, greed, frustration, impatience and a bit of the ‘mask’ that we put up to portray the person we would like to be. The reason being – the above characteristics does not reflect our TRUESELF.

Now, in return, we would RECEIVE – a more peaceful self, kind, compassionate, understanding, confident, fearless, patient and the list goes on. And we will begin to see our TRUESELF being revealed to us. And trust me, we will once again, begin to love Ourselves, in the real sense.

ALL THE BEST!! The initial steps of giving away a bit of ourselves, may require loads of effort and discipline, but once you find the right road and end up on the highway back home – its just a straight road, then!!
